RANCHERO, which means “native Mexican” in Spanish, is run by members of the Tanyeri Gonzalez family. Born out of a passionate love story spanning from Mexico and Turkey, the first Ranchero restaurant was opened in Suadiye in 2005 to offer Istanbulites truly authentic Mexican cuisine, with roots in the ancient Mayan and Aztec civilizations dating back thousands of years. The restaurant soon became a popular meeting place for gourmets. On its 5th anniversary, RANCHERO has opened a second branch on the European side in the Reasürans Building in Nişantaşı. The restaurant moved to its new location on Bagdat Street in 2016 in order to offer its guests a much more comfortable and spacious venue, and continues to flourish with love.

RANCHERO: THE AUTHENTIC MEXICAN CUISINE IN TURKEY

Bringing the vibrant culture, welcoming atmosphere, and authentic flavors of Mexico to new locations, Ranchero, the best Mexican in town, opened a new restaurant at Watergarden, one of the most popular food and entertainment centers on the Anatolian Side, and another one in Büyükyalı Fişekhane. At present, Ranchero offers authentic Mexican food at three locations in Ankara, including One Tower Shopping Mall and Atakule, with its fourth restaurant due to open soon at Armada Shopping Mall.

Typical sauces served in the restaurant branches are produced in-house. Ranchero has built its own facility to produce flour and corn tortillas, which are the staples of Mexican cuisine, and serve them to its guests as they would in its homeland. All tortilla varieties are produced in this new facility and served fresh daily. The sauces inspired by authentic Mexican recipes are prepared with Ranchero’s signature seasoning mix.
